Happy Weekend Tooth & Co Families,

We have missed every one of you and hope this message finds you all safe and healthy!

On Thursday, May 14th, we will be resuming patient care, emergency and non-emergency. We are starting very slowly and will gradually make appropriate changes over the coming weeks. Our #1 priority is everyone’s safety and well-being. We will be strictly following all of the CDC and ADA guidelines to ensure the safety of our patients, team members, and all of our families.

Whether your child had an appointment with us during the time of “closure”, starting March 16th, or is on the schedule for a future appointment, we need to reappoint you. We have begun calling families chronologically, per the time of their original appointment. We welcome you to please call, email or request an appointment on toothandco.com so we can get you back on the schedule, no matter how far out.

Please be assured that providing the safest, best possible care is our mission and always on our mind.

That is why at your next dental visit, you will notice some changes in our office protocol and procedures:

  • We have put away toys, magazines, beanbag chairs and other items that are difficult to keep absolutely clean. Please bring a stuffed animal or blanket if it helps to make your child’s visit more pleasant.

  • There will be increased disinfection protocols and protective measures throughout the office.

  • As you get closer to your appointment, please go to our website, toothandco.com, and fill out the form COVID-19 Consent, and submit it electronically. If any of the answers change from the time of filling the form until your appointment, please notify us immediately.

  • Before leaving your house, be sure your child’s teeth are brushed and flossed thoroughly, as our toothbrushing area will be closed for the purpose of aerosol reduction.

  • Upon your arrival, please stay in your car until the time of your appointment. We’ll open the door for you, and even though we are all wearing masks, I assure you that we have a big smile on our faces.

  • Each person to enter the office (all employees and patients) their temperature will be taken. According to CDC guidelines, if it is above 100.4 degrees, we will reschedule your appointment at least 2 weeks out.

  • Due to social distancing guidelines, we are limiting the number of people in our office and requesting that only scheduled patients and 1 parent/guardian come to the appointment. If you have other dependents that must accompany you, we ask you to consider staying in the car with them. We will notify you when your child’s appointment is done.

🦷😁We love you all and are grateful for your continued trust in our office. 🦷😁

In the past few weeks, we’ve been available and able to help countless patients with concerns and emergencies! Existing and new! I appreciate everyone’s patience during this unprecedented time. I’m grateful for technology as teledentistry has allowed us to communicate seamlessly. I’m grateful to be able to communicate, triage, and give advice to our patients on a daily basis. And I’m most grateful for simple checking in conversations as this caring relationship is mutual. Thank you to those who have called or sent us notes. It means the world to us and we sincerely appreciate your kind gesture. ❤

So, even though we haven’t been able to physically see most of our patients, you have been on our minds. We miss you. We miss chatting, laughing, and catching up. We miss providing the dental care we are so passionate about. We miss your smiles!

As always, we are here for you, your loved ones, your family! Give us a call should you need us. We are more than happy to help in any way we can.

Hang in there. We wish you the best of health! Can’t wait to see your smiling faces again!

Best,

Dr. Ellie Sakhi and Team
